The Law Society of Ireland has announced the next phase of its partnership with RIP.ie, building on the significant public engagement achieved since the collaboration launched.

Reaching families at the right moment

RIP.ie attracts around 250,000 visitors per day, making it one of Ireland’s most visited websites. The Law Society partnered with the platform to reach that audience with practical, solicitor-authored information on wills, probate, and estate planning. The initiative sits against a striking backdrop: it is estimated that €295 billion of Irish wealth will transfer between generations over the next 20 years, making estate planning one of the most consequential financial issues for families across the country.

Strong engagement in the first phase

The first phase of the partnership produced ten solicitor-authored articles published directly on RIP.ie. These were supported by a national and regional media campaign, with solicitors interviewed on programmes including Newstalk Breakfast, RTÉ Radio’s Oliver Callan show, and Newstalk Lunchtime Live.

What is coming next

The partnership is now entering its second phase, with new articles, broader media outreach, and expanded public engagement planned for the remainder of 2026. New content topics have been developed, and additional solicitor authors are coming on board.

All solicitor-authored articles, along with radio interview recordings, are available on the Law Society’s dedicated RIP.ie partnership page. You can view and listen to these on their website here.
